Artist’s caption: “I think Hagley Park is an absolutely incredible place with its fully mature trees, own lake and adjoining Botanical Gardens and people walking, cycling, running, playing sports; it’s a place to meet, take your beloved dog or have solitude, an early walk, warmly dressed, in the park at sunrise on a cool, spring morning is unforgettable. The pinky-white cherry blossoms lining the outer perimeters are like giant confetti-laden chandeliers to walk under, and the mist gives everything a wonderful sense of mystery as the sunlight filters through. I often think of Claude Monet loving the garden at Giverny so much that he would paint it often, and that’s how I feel about Hagley Park.
